(II) Representative Cases
Case 1: Intellectual Property Dispute – Trademark Infringement Rights ProtectionSuccessfully stopped the infringing acts and obtained compensation for economic losses.
He represented a well-known brand in a case involving trademark infringement and unfair competition. The infringer operated both online and offline across nearly 20 provinces and municipalities nationwide. Lawyer Gu Yifei organized infringement evidence and calculated illegal profits gained from infringement. By focusing on three key points—the commercial value of the client’s trademark, losses incurred by the client due to infringement, and the defendant’s malicious intent—he secured a ruling confirming the defendant’s trademark infringement. The court ordered the defendant to cease all infringing activities immediately and compensate the client for economic losses, effectively safeguarding the enterprise’s intellectual property rights and brand value.
Case 2: Bequest Dispute – Upholding the Decedent’s Will and Protecting the Client’s Legitimate Rights and Interests
He represented a bequest dispute case, collected abundant case precedents and evidence to confirm the favorable starting time limit for acknowledging the bequest and the validity of the joint will made by the couple for his client. The authenticity of the will was verified through handwriting identification. Finally, the decedent’s wishes were fully realized via court judgment, safeguarding the client’s entitled legitimate rights and interests.
Case 3: Labor Dispute – Protecting the Labor Rights and Interests of Migrant Workers
He represented a labor dispute case. The client had no written labor contract and was illegally dismissed, then sued by the company for claiming over 300,000 yuan in business losses allegedly caused by the client’s work mistakes. The lawyer gathered evidence including daily work chat records, payroll vouchers and witness statements from colleagues. After labor arbitration, first instance and second instance proceedings, the labor relationship was legally confirmed. The court ruled that the company should pay double wage compensation for the absence of a labor contract and compensation for illegal dismissal, and dismissed the company’s claim for business loss compensation.
